Pastor Ricky Lo (盧德文傳道) received his education in Economics in England and Financial Management in Australia. Over the years, he served in accounting in a variety of roles, from auditor to financial analyst, and later became a professional accountant with a CPA designation in Ontario. He then followed God’s call into ministry and completed his first theological master’s degree at Tyndale Seminary in North York, majoring in Spiritual Formation and Pastoral Ministry. Before joining GSCCC, Pastor Ricky served for three years in Ottawa Chinese Alliance church and Windsor Chinese Baptist church after graduation. Due to family situation, he moved back to Toronto and worked for nine years as an accountant before God called him back to ministry. He holds dear the vision of the one Church, with Jesus Christ as the Head, and looks forward to walking together with brothers and sisters from different Christian traditions. It is his joy and privilege to learn, grow, and serve alongside fellow believers, and to share the Good News with the neighbors through lives that reflect Christ in both word and deed, by the grace of God and the help of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Sophia Chan‑Szeto (司徒陳靜傳道) completed her undergraduate studies in Human Physiology and Christianity & Culture before earning her Bachelor of Education. She went on to teach high school in Toronto for eight years.

Sensing a call toward deeper theological formation, she pursued an M.Div. in Biblical Studies at Tyndale Seminary, followed by further studies at the Toronto School of Theology in a Master of Arts program specializing in Spiritual Direction. Contemplative practices have been foundational in her own spiritual journey, and she hopes to share their quiet, transformative gifts with others.

Pastor Sophia encounters God most naturally through music, movement, creation, and silence. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve in her home church and looks forward to sharing the Good News with her family, friends, and neighbours.
